So we got into Boston yesterday with no problems. The flight took off and landed on schedule which was cool. There were no exciting stories of airport security. We got in around 11ish.
For our first half day in Boston we drove into town (big mistake) found a parking garage and wandered around looking at stuff. We went to Cheers and the food was good but there was a lot of noise around the Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Quincy Market. There were tons of shops there that were either just normal shops like the Gap and Banana Republic or junk kiosks. At one place my mother bought an awful decorative plunger that I think is not intended to be used as a plunger but rather as something to put paper towels on.
We wandered around the north end and saw a bunch of restaurants. We got sort of lost around there but eventually got back to Quincy Market. We had ice cream then went back to the hotel.
We took naps when we got back to the hotel and then went out to see Anchorman which was funny. Got back around 9ish from that then went to eat at the restaurant in our hotel. Food was good and our waitress was hot. Today we are going to take a trolley tour and meet up with my cousin Geoff for lunch. He’s been busy this weekend working on a paper about the music of Morocco.
